Editorial Policy

The ScienceEdu Journal is a peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to publishing high-quality research and scholarly works in the field of biology, chemistry, physics, and science education. The journal aims to contribute to the advancement of teaching and learning physics at all levels of education through innovative, rigorous, and impactful studies.

Scope and Focus

The journal welcomes original research articles, literature reviews, and innovative studies related to the core disciplines of natural sciences, including Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.

Peer Review Process

Every manuscript submitted to the journal is evaluated through a double-blind peer review system. At least two independent reviewers with expertise in the relevant area are assigned to assess each submission. The evaluation emphasizes aspects such as originality, methodological soundness, clarity of writing, relevance, and its contribution to the field of science education. The final decision regarding publication is determined by the editorial board based on the reviewers’ assessments. 

Publication Ethics

The ScienceEdu Journal upholds high standards of publication ethics and actively prevents malpractice by aligning its policies with the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Authors must guarantee that their submissions are original, unpublished, and free from any form of plagiarism. The journal does not tolerate academic misconduct in any form, including plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, or redundant publication. 

Author Responsibilities

Authors are responsible for ensuring the reliability of their data, providing accurate citations for all referenced sources, and properly acknowledging every contributor involved in the work. Any potential conflicts of interest must be transparently declared. For studies involving human participants, authors are required to adhere to established ethical standards and obtain the necessary ethical approval where applicable. 

Editorial Responsibilities

Editors are tasked with making impartial, objective, and timely decisions based exclusively on the scholarly merit of submitted manuscripts. Both editors and reviewers are required to preserve the confidentiality of all submissions and to avoid any conflicts of interest throughout the review process. 

Open Access Policy

The journal offers open access to all published articles, encouraging unrestricted knowledge sharing and facilitating the worldwide dissemination of research in science education. 

Copyright and Licensing

Authors maintain ownership of their work while granting the journal first publication rights. All published articles are released under an open-access license, enabling readers to access, download, and share the content, provided appropriate credit is given.
