Peer Review Policy
ScienceEdu Journal (Jurnal Pendidikan IPA) employs a double-blind review mechanism to maintain high scholarly standards and ensure the credibility of published works. Under this system, neither the authors nor the reviewers are aware of each other’s identities throughout the evaluation process.
Every manuscript submitted to the journal is assessed by a minimum of two qualified reviewers with expertise in relevant areas such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or science education. The evaluation considers several aspects, including the novelty of the study, its relevance to science education, the strength of the theoretical framework, the appropriateness of the research methods, the quality of data interpretation, the clarity of writing, and its overall contribution to the discipline.
Following the review process, the editor may issue one of the following decisions:
acceptance
acceptance with minor revisions
invitation for major revisions, or rejection.
The editor holds full responsibility for the final publication decision, taking into account the reviewers’ recommendations. Throughout the process, the editorial team ensures that all evaluations are conducted impartially, ethically, and with strict confidentiality, while carefully avoiding any conflicts of interest.
